Introduction: The Indo-Pakistani War of 1947, also known as the First Kashmir War, was a significant event in the history of South Asia. This happened just after the partition of British India into two countries, India and Pakistan, in August 1947. There was a lot of greed behind this partition, 2 separate nations, for which Nehru, Gandhi and Jinnah were responsible. The war was centered on the region of Jammu and Kashmir and had a major impact on both countries.
